Introductory stage: the social development of the personality is directly related to the choice, competent construction and development of interaction with the surrounding world and people, taking into account the individual characteristics of a person. And each of them is able to open their pedagogical capabilities and resources to solve the problems of socialization, for the social development of the individual. This influence penetrates into a single individual through and through the judgments, opinions and beliefs that any person has. The development of a person as an individual is reduced to one thing: to learn how to choose the right way in the ocean of daily proposals for the realization of vital personal and social tasks. On this path, a person finds success, recognition, social status, communication, a new experience, and maybe the second half, etc.

The second stage : the social development of the personality as a stage of developing the consent and trust of the person to the surrounding reality. Each individual not only lives in a certain society, but also, representing himself as a constituent of this society, constantly coordinates his views, thoughts, attitudes, evaluations, actions and, in general, activity with other elements of the society (individuals or social institutions). Consent in social development allows you to maximize the use of each of the elements of society. In social development of personality, an important place is occupied by social roles performed by a person for a certain time, as well as his social status. A person performs many different roles, and each time he needs to be somehow different in order to get approval and recognition.

In different situations, a person performs different roles, but in some ways he always remains himself, that is, role behavior is a kind of combination of roles and personality of the performer. Each role imposes a well-known imprint on the individual, on the person's self-consciousness, as a person mobilizes the resources of his body and psyche to perform a role.

In accordance with age, sex, origin, profession, marital status, each person in society has a certain social status. This is a certain position in the social structure of a group or society, connected with other positions through a system of rights and duties. The main status is the most characteristic status for a given person, with which it is identified (identified) by other people or with whom he identifies himself. The main thing is always the status that determines the style and way of life, the circle of acquaintances, the manner of behavior.

Thus, it can be said that the status emphasizes the similarity of people, and the role is their difference. Thus, the role is individual behavior in accordance with its status.

The fifth stage : social development is the mastering by the individual of social behavior on the basis of the realization of the pedagogical potential of the society in resolving the problems of its socialization. The behavior of a person is an outwardly observable act, the actions of individuals, their definite sequence, which in one way or another affect the interests of other people, their groups, the whole society. Human behavior acquires a social meaning, becomes personal when it is included in communication with other people. Consequently, any manifestation of human behavior is fundamentally social.

Social behavior is an external manifestation of an activity in which a particular position of a person, his attitude, is revealed. It is a form of transforming activity into real action in relation to socially significant objects. As the mechanisms of self-regulation of social behavior of a person, social attitudes arise that are formed in the specific conditions of the external environment.

A social attitude is a readiness, a predisposition of a person to a certain activity and social actions in relation to an object. A social attitude is a value attitude toward a social object, psychologically expressed in the readiness for a positive or negative reaction to it.

However, despite the fact that the social behavior of an individual is largely determined by the status it occupies and the roles it plays in society, it (the personality) nevertheless retains its autonomy and a certain freedom of choice.


Thus, the above stages of social development of the individual reflect the essence of his interaction with the potential of the society, with the realization of his pedagogical capabilities and resources, which contribute to resolving the problems of socialization of the personality and the appearance of significant social qualities in it. In fact, the social development of the individual as a socio-pedagogical process includes the stages of selecting the socially important elements of the society, their pedagogical potential, as well as the competent construction and development of interaction with the surrounding world and people, taking into account the individual characteristics of the individual; the development of agreement and trust in the surrounding reality; accumulation of personal experience of participation in interaction with the social environment; the development of the social role and the acquisition of social status by the individual; mastering the personality of social behavior, its role and place in society.

Like any process, social development is a fully measurable phenomenon and has its own criteria for assessing the level of its development.
