The Osage County Jail, located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, was constructed in 1997 with the purpose to replace the old building which was in close propinquity to the County Courthouse.

The facility has 140 beds for both male and female inmates and is used by other Law Enforcement agencies for holding and transportation of the prisoners. There are about 100 inmates imprisoned here on a systematic basis. The information about all daily population currently kept in jail is included in the Offender Data Information System (ODIS) created by the Osage County Jail together with the Oklahoma Criminal Justice Resource Center. The purpose of the ODIS system is maintaining inmate records and sharing the information with different state agencies. The system has the archives of booking reports that can be viewed by the victims, the offenders and other interested individuals. For more detailed information or a complete report, a customer may address the IT department. The data in the ODIS system is regularly updated and arranged by a month which makes the search considerably easier.
