Word word processor. Running the program
The most widely used word processor Microsoft Office Word as a stand-alone software product and component of the Microsoft Office program package (version 95/97/2000/XP/2003/2007/2010). Further, the version of the word processor Microsoft Word 2010 is mainly considered.
The Microsoft Office Word program has the icon , and the file created by the word processor is called a Word document, indicated by a paper sheet icon with the letter W and extension * .docx.
Run the program and open the document. There are several ways to get started with the program. You can use the Start, Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Word command, or place a shortcut to the program on the desktop. To create a new document, you can use the File, New, Microsoft Word Document command in any Windows folder window.
Opening files with the extension * .docx or * .doc, the operating system associates them with the Word program, so when loading such a file with the Enter key or by clicking the mouse into the memory, both Word and the selected file. Tabs open specific tasks.
Groups (on the tab) split the task into subtasks containing buttons, command collections.
A command button in a group executes a command or displays a command menu.

In the name of each group of commands, the button opens a dialog box for all the parameters of this command, even those that are not put on the buttons. For example, the Font button opens the font options command window.
