Current Education System Effect on Creativity

Abstract

This paper discusses the way the current system education in Latin America eliminates creativity. The paper clarifies that standard test have to be reorganized and how the system would improve. Then it'll show how free time is important for each and every student to possess better knowledge. Finally, you will see how is the methodology of the machine to think about the path we live following. Also along the paper there are some comments to resolve the challenge because that problem is affecting childhood.

The current education system eliminates creativity

Does every person have the same opportunities in today's education system? The answer is clear "No". Nowadays the existing education system is based on a few important things such as maths, knowledge and dialect but it does not concentrate on people who like to boogie or sing. In this article "The truth for disruption in Latin American's classrooms" (Segan, 2016), Susan says that many classes in Latin America continue steadily to use antiquated models for education. For many years education system in those producing countries hasn't got a great change, even though humans are growing every minute; our cars upgraded, our computers upgraded, and our machines better. However, in the article "Inteligencias Mєltiples: La teoria en la practica. " (Howard), Gardner suggest that we've been used this education system since industrial revolution. In those days this system proved helpful because the globe needs only consisted on memorizing or pursuing instructions. This education system uses those old techniques such as memorization but in the modern world skills such as creativeness, imagination, and creativity are needed. Gardner also shows that there exists more than only one intelligence so why does indeed education system only concentrate on a few of them? We have different ways to learn, create, and innovate so we can not continue using this system. Each person differs and unique therefore the system cannot judge us similar. Also, the earth has changed because the industrial trend and our necessities have altered too. Now we have many people without work because the machine does not prepare them for new labour requirements because the planet need more folks who can solve problems. In addition the current educational system feels that some things are definitely more important than others such as mathematics and boogie but nothing farther than the truth just because a dancer can create and innovate with his/her body. However we sometimes feel that a mathematic or a reasoning person only has theoretical knowledge and cannot apply that kind of knowledge in true to life, but that's not true in all cases. However the current system education courses us to believe in a distinctive way. For those reasons by me there are 3 problems with the current system education that kills creativity.

Standard test aren't suited to all students

First of all, standardized lab tests are one of the biggest problems in the education system. In the article "Inteligencias Mєltiples: La teoria en la practica. " (Howard), the author says that there are several different intelligent. Based on this information in my view standard test is wii way to judge a student's improvement. Standardized test are based on questions to gain certain people who have specific skills. For instance, in Ecuador there is an exam called ENES which benefit individuals who have logical and linguistic cleverness. However, people who don't have those skills cannot complete this exam so they think that they are not able to examine anything. Those examinations are manufactured to benefit specific skills including the ability to assess math problems or create and solve equations. However, in the article "The truth for disruption in Latin American's classrooms" (20 May 2016), Susan Segal says that the way students learn and what they have to learn is swiftly changing so the primary problem is Can a distinctive exam connect with everyone? According to Gardner there will vary wise, skills and necessities so those kinds of exams do not work because each individual has different skills and needs. By the distinction this kind of test judges everyone as equals.

Another concern is a test requires a lot of energy to be replied and is also exhausting for students. People who control educational system should change test technique and make an effort to make them less stressful. With this in mind if testing were more practical, students would increase their knowledge faster and they would develop new important expertise. For example, with a test is difficult to value the real awareness. By compare by creating assignments would be easier to evaluate each pupil. By creating jobs students develop skills such as to handle real problems, create new ideas or improve control. "In technology, we don't start by knowing the answer-we value the processЁ (Ossola, 2014). That presents us that sometimes we need to move our hands to learn better. If we do not make the procedure we will have knowledge but we'd not be able to apply that knowledge in real life. One solution for this problem would be to decrease the number of tests and raise the number of projects but checks could be more practical because now there are a lot of exams that only exploit our capacity to memorize. Currently our world is more competitive and big ideas must improve our world. In this way test should be related for taking advantage of those skills and guide us to use them to resolve real problems.

Time should be better spent

Secondly, having less free time for students is another problem in today's education system. Time is important for each one because we can use it on different things such as comforting, doing homework, playing or whatever we like. However, what goes on if we spend too much time in classes? We do not take advantage of the hundred percentage of your time because we have exhausting classes with an extended schedule. In some instances each subject is token 2 time each day, so instructors cannot stay those schedules and neither do students. Thus students get pressured easily and cannot give consideration perfectly. Also students who do not like some content spend their time in other activities such as participating in on their mobile phones, chatting or joking. Hence time is not considered benefit of in classes, so program should benefit students and professors. Each one increases results if they're relaxed. An example to take benefit of time is the article, "A Tinkerer Builds a Windmill, electrifying a nation. " (2007). Where Sarah Childress says that while William Kamkwanba silently plowed through homework, his classmates were occupied gossiping and looking at their Facebook information. He took benefit of his time while his companions didn't spend time in a great way. Also William Kamkwanba created a new project without any pressure. He was relaxed and he worked better. Also he did not spend his time in classes because he was obligated to work with his hands so he proved helpful better if he was moving his hands. Also William Kamkwanba experienced done his work without the teacher; he is a great example of self-preparation. A great example of this is when he built a wind is only going to with a publication. This shows that the one limit is our imagination. He performed every minute in his project so his job could be achieved. Predicated on that the scholar system should change the agenda and exploit each one's capabilities taken benefit of every minute in classes and give more free time to diminish stress. Also the system should consider different ways to exploit time. Once we can see in Willian's example creating jobs is one of the better solutions because with jobs we're able to think beyond your box rather than waste time. Time is too important because we can not recover lost time.

The current strategy no more works

Finally, the current methodology predicated on memorization is an impediment to learn because creative people are losing their time. Nowadays memorization can be an important base inside our education system. However not all students are able to learn in this way also this way of teaching does not educate critical thinking skills. If we think on memorization, scientist arises our head because many people believe that these are like robots and they only memorize their literature. However, in the article "Scientists TEND TO BE Creative than you may Consider" (Nov 12, 2014). Ossola Alexandra feels that experts are like music artists as well. Experts have the ability to create because they want new ideas. Also assignments derive from new ideas and a scientist always does projects. In case a scientist only has the capacity of memorize, he'd fail in the knowledge world. However the education system, which I defined before, is not useful for different skills based on creativity, it centers in creating head knowledge. Schools only show what they need to learn they only show facts, but sometimes they do not teach how they may apply that knowledge and students are like machines, clear machines. Students can follow instructions but the real question is, can that learner think by himself. Curiosity, initiative, leadership are not used in classes and they're abilities that will help students not only in his studies also in his life. "Innovative solutions and new technology are emerging around the world" (Segal Susan, 2016). Which means that we now have a lot of people with guidelines. However in Latin America those techniques such as imagination, collaboration, problem-solving as well as others are not taken of advantage because those skills are wiped out in colleges or high colleges. The machine only demonstrates to us to follow one way. Nevertheless kids are living a different certainty so they want different skills. Memorization can be an antiquate technique that should be altered by techniques like control or adaptability effort.

In finish if the current education system in Latin America based on memorization and mind knowledge aren't useful nowadays, we have to find a remedy to help people who have fresh ideas, creativity or creativity. Today we are judge a fish by its capacity to climb that presents us that people aren't creating people that can solve real problems because the education system is focused mind knowledge. However, the globe need more than knowledge as developing countries we have to be able to select the best of other education systems from countries with better development. Also education system is too important for each and every one because kids are developed in this technique and they will be the future of our population. Nevertheless we could killing their capabilities and we are shaped robots that only have linear thinking. Holds true that there are problems so we need to identify which can be they and look for a remedy.
