Monitoring and assessment
Knowledge and understanding:
Tutors must be comfortable in the subject knowledge they will teach. This needs to be the specialised subject matter you are licensed in.
Planning, teaching and category management:
Planning and building of a lesson is an essential and the? educating cycle concept have to be followed. These are: the aims & rationale, plan lesson & expected result, delivery of lesson, determine learning against results, feedback & evaluation.
Zaf - you must be cautious with how you will express your thoughts. Also - although you have now mentioned the Aims and Rationale - it continues to be not necessarily clear why they are so important with regards to each learner group.
The goals of the lessons and its outcome must be visualised before the subject is taught, and it must be appropriate for the group. Learner's needs are not to be disregarded, and a Teacher must concentrate on the issues of equality and diversity in the class room, and every child issues (ECM).
In the delivering of the lesson, a tutor needs to consider the several backgrounds, learning needs, and disabilities of the learners, additional materials should be produced open to all individuals when required.
The demonstration and execution of the lessons plays an integral role in learner's learning, as every individual have various ways of learning. The resources found in the lesson, for example, PowerPoint, Turn Chart, and Clean Panel should be completely utilised. Aesthetic, auditory and functional learning styles ensure the learner to obtain equivalent opportunities in learning. Lessons and quizzes receive the scholar interested and their attention? in the lessons therefore should participate the lessons. Numerous types of lesson plans can make interest for the learners; and create an opportunity to examine the learners understanding of the subject.
Reflections of the lessons during the pursuing week will enable the tutor to get a sense of what students have learned if methods are effective.
Monitoring and Assessment
The initial interview and analysis is the start of Learner / tutor relationship. The Tutor will start to learn what motivates the learners to be always a part of the specific course. The course and level needs to be matched up with the students' skills and the pervious skill and knowledge of the topic. The learner's capability should be evaluated, in literacy, dialect and numeracy skills which may be applicable. This will help identify the advantages and weakness of the learner.
The Initial evaluation is also used to inform the introduction of learning plans. The reviews from the tasks will also help evaluate the success of the lessons. It is vital to ensure that the learners enrolling for courses fully understand what's required from them. It is a two way system where in fact the tutor is aware of the learner, and the learner knows whether the course these are getting into is the right one for the coffee lover.
Assessing the students learning against final results, feedback and evaluation of the lessons is important; a tutor could tailor their next delivery based on the responses received from the students. Lessons including practical activities, training, and quizzes are great way to keep an eye on learner's improvement throughout the course.
Tutors are committed to improve the standard of learners to achieve better results. Examination is the best way to ensure the learner's improvement is on track, help should be provided when the tutor realises the learner is having difficulties. Marking is one form of monitoring an examination, the day to day monitoring allows a tutor to discover when the students are experiencing difficulties with the principles a tutor can then address these troubles. The assessments of learners must be continuously monitored to analyse the progress they are really making, and keep carefully the learners enlightened, the reviews should be provided.
To monitor and plan ahead; (treatment plan)
To inform internal and external examining bodies;
To display that the steps are being properly followed;

In the view of, (Gravells & Simpson, pg. 21. 2010)
"All relevant information should be noted in the form of an idea, usually called an specific learning plan (ILP), this is also called action plan".
They note that listed below are good practice when concluding an ILP.
Involve your learners, cause them to become discuss their learning and support needs.
Refer to the results of initial and diagnostic assessments, and learning styles lab tests.
Make sure they are simply individual to each learner; you can find no-one size works with all.
Express and speak learning goals both verbally and on paper.
There are restrictions to what a tutor can do; tutors shouldn't provide counselling or financial advice, for good examples, enclosure benefits, income support etc. They should refer learners to an appropriate organisation who handles this type of issues.
The limited time and resources available to tutor have to be considered. The expense of buying additional material makes it harder to help the students in further support in the lessons.
As a teacher, there are professional limitations set up such as never to providing your contact number; the purpose of these is to protect tutors from unacceptable contact.
It is clear that tutors have plenty of other responsibilities apart from just setting up and educating. Tutors need to make sure every learner needs are catered for, when planning, setting up and providing the lessons. All the records are regularly inspected, kept thus far, and are available to for examining and funding bodies. Resources necessary for the lesson are available to allow students to participate.
In the view of (Tummons, 2007 pg. 17),
"A lot of the work done by the teacher is due to learning and teaching: preparing learning source of information; liaising with exterior examiners; marking assignment and documenting the results. Then there are a lot of things that do not really seem to be to be related to learning and instructing by any means, such as taking part in marketing and promotion activities, which also come as part of the tutor's role, as it is very imperative to secure recruitment for the next year".
