This organization comes under the control of Ministry of international Pakistanis labor and manpower. Its objective was to give poor Pakistanis the vocational trained in the domains that are required and demanded abroad. It aimed to give scholarships, stipends to the kids of the indegent workers working in another country. A lot more than 7 million Pakistanis working abroad and about 5 million households are reliant and surviving in Pakistan. This abroad Pakistani community is a significant source of making foreign exchange. The OPF feels privileged to help this community in providing them with the perfect education.

There are more than 15 educational corporations of OPF in Pakistan. OPF try to focus on the educational needs of Overseas Pakistani employees? children by any means levels beginning with early child years education to post graduate level. OPF Women University Islamabad is its one of the better organizations of Pakistan. OPF Young ladies College is positioned in one of the better areas of Islamabad with a network of its junior branches in many areas. It begins from pre nursery course to the post graduate level for girls only; boys examine here till class 5 only and from then on they are advertised to OPF Young boys College in another sector of Islamabad. OPF Females College is an enormous campus for more than 5000 girls and the small children are studying in its junior branches. The ideal and congenial environment of the institution/college encourages learning activities. It really is equipped with up to date libraries, computer and technology laboratories. The sound visual helps, models, transparencies, overhead projectors and multimedia facilitate teaching and learning functions. Curricular and co-curricular activities to promote physical and mental progress of the students will be the additional appeal of the faculty. There is an auditorium for training seminars, twelve-monthly parents? day and other university functions. This auditorium offers a seating convenience of over 600 people. Huge play grounds, tennis and basket ball courts enable the students to enjoy games with their untiring study agenda. It also provides hostel and transportation facilities. Refreshment cafeteria, drinking water filtration and chiller vegetation and regular doctor?s medical help students to keep up their good health.

?The Quest of the OPF education system is to ensure superiority in teaching and learning so that each student will get involved with responsibility in a diverse and changing world. ?

It says that the college endeavors to disseminate the best knowledge and offer students with stable foundation. To enable the students to excel in every field of life by meeting and exceeding thorough performance and success standards. It will make an effort to ensure the highest degree of performance for those coaching and non-teaching staff. It will develop and put into action curriculum and evaluation system that are relevant and challenging. To make a stimulating and nourishing learning environment. A congenial atmosphere to create a university student- professor friendly community. To make certain that variety and commonality are respected.

OPF Girls School was established in 1986 with a short start of total 200 students of most level. At present the total durability is more than 5000 from Pre Nursery to B. A/B Sc. Including children of overseas Pakistanis and locals of Islamabad. It offers outlet its four branches in several areas of Islamabad for small children of the near by localities. 500 well qualified coaching and about 200 non-teaching staff is employed in raising the typical of the establishment.

Doing SWOT research of the institution the talents of OPF Girls College or university is its highly experienced faculty; the syllabus that is being disseminated. The motivating and enjoyable environment adds to its beauty. The hard working and committed staff ensures the best and hundred percent results of most school levels. The college or university is affiliated with Federal Plank of Assessment Islamabad. Class 9th, 10th and F. A, F. Sc. tests are conducted through this plank. Moreover, it includes O? Levels and A levels affiliated with Cambridge University Britain. The International people get 50% charge concession. Local citizens also enjoy a nominal fee as compared to other private classes of Islamabad. It gives a handsome amount of salary bundle to the teachers so a good lot of educators are drawn.

The weakness of the organization is the sluggish recruitment process. If a teacher continues on a long leave for any reason it becomes hard to get her swap in time. By the time the substitute educator is assemble the teacher on leave rejoins. Vacancies of teachers? posts are not timely. This sluggish process does at times have an impact on students? performance. The appointment criteria for professors are B. A/B. Sc. with B. Ed for junior classes and M. A/M. Sc. with M. Ed for senior classes. This criterion is not befitting Preschool as it does not fulfill the dependence on small kids. Some teachers arriving with only B. Ed level are not ideal for small kids. There has to be some other certification along with proper training to work with younger lot.

There is a couple of procedure for promotions of the professors that is written in Standard Operating Techniques (SOP) booklet. Awards and offers aren't done on performance basis. Total annual Confidential Reviews (ACR) is compiled by the Section Mind and is published to the main and then finally to the Director. Because of this very reason educators are not determined to boost themselves. They keep on focusing on their own regular tempo and on old set program. Some old professors aren't even ready to accept improvements.

In the fast paced era of 21st century also to manage up with the International specifications of education; the educational institutions have to foresee two decades forward when their product would be contending in their job market. A lot of the teachers aren't computer literate.

The other private classes around could a potential menace to the university as they could entice more admissions. But scheduled to a very good reputation of the college and that it is purely for female students; people like sending their ladies to this college.

For this reason continuous Human Source of information Development is essential. HRD is one of the major functions of HRM. It not only is composed the introduction of the employees but also the development of the organization. PLUS IT can only be achieved when there is a regular process of appraisal. Organizational development is done by developing structure, system and enhancing its functions to be able to achieve the goals.

Before planning a formal training and development process we have to analyze the university in following aspects:

At Organization level:

Whether the college is working in the right direction where it could achieve its goals and goals. Whether its curriculum is upto the symbol where it fits the necessity of the students at international level. The merchandise it will make after 20 years would be useful not only in the job market but also be the useful people of the united states. Is the Human being Tool Planning done properly.

At Job level:

The analysis is to be done to check if the duties are done to achieve the purposes of the faculty.

At specific level:

The Human Tool is a good asset for just about any organization. Analysis at individual level is performed to see where areas training and development is needed. It really is done to determine the training needs.

The purpose of HRD program for just about any organization is:

1. To increase employees? status and performance.

2. To recognize the areas need to be improved.

3. To give awareness to the employees of the week areas.

4. To create them realize and permit these to make maximum use of the potential.

5. To improve employees? efficiency and efficacy.

To identify the weakened regions of the teachers the data was gathered from the teachers of OPF Prep section F-10/2 by interviewing them, by learners? feedback and professors? appraisals. They were asked in the interview to make a critical self-assessment of their needs and goals for the new academic treatment so their development program could be prepared accordingly.

Using the evidence from this analysis the professional development activities were organized; keeping in view the rationale for each activity; time-line; results and the procedures of success.

Same exercise of selecting out professors for HRD program was conducted in the other Preschool section in Sector F-8 of the college.

Objectives of the HRD program to be conducted in OPF Women School Prep Section F-10/2:

1. To polish teachers? knowledge, skills, abilities and patterns.

2. To increase the quality of coaching.

3. To improve the standard of the faculty.

4. To improve the students? performance.

5. To promote the utilization of technology to aid professional development.

The expected outcomes of this HRD program in the school are:

To make the educators critically reflective on their teaching-learning process so that they continuously enhance their techniques and develop their personalities as instructors. The educators shall keep them abreast with new technology and modern coaching methodologies. They would realize the demand of the 21st century learner. The educators would make themselves prepared to absorb latest information and update knowledge.

Although we do not follow completely Madam Maria?s Montessori methods in our school rather we apply both nursery and Montessori methods in the school. The workshop was based on the same methods. Exercises and activities from both methods would be educated. This workshop would encompass the instructors learning areas such as knowledge skills capabilities and behavior. Instructors from the B. A and B. Ed. history cannot understand small kids?s psyche. Through this workshop the background and need of the children at different developmental periods are trained through the idea. The presentation distributed by the tool person by using a variety of tools would develop the skill area of the teachers and then the teachers would be asked to get ready a simulation of the course in the form of a joint activity. This would help them in controlling the children and polish their action.

The teachers wouldn't normally only get the sensible demo rather they might be asked to prepare an inexpensive budget material for his or her own classrooms.

A band of 20 Pre School Teachers are preferred for the 15 times Teachers? Training Workshop. This might be conducted in the institution premises through the 15 times winter Holidays the Resource Persons are the senior Montessori trained educators of the institution. Timing would be 9:00 am to at least one 1:30pm which include around 30 minutes tea break and discussion time in which educators from both branches exchange their views and discuss their encounters with the children.

Day 1:

The first day was began with the recitation from the Holy Quran proceeded by the Welcome address with the Section Mind of the institution. The educators were briefed by the Mission and Vision of the school and they are the major components in the success of the university because they are the teachers of the future nation builders. The reputation of the college depends upon their effort they put in laying the base root of building the personalities of the students. The reason and the expected outcomes of the HRD program were communicated.

The source person Mrs. Asma Janjua had taken over and after presenting the brief bill and release of the complete course she started out with the value of the ?Well prepared Environment? in the class.

Prepared environment identifies the concept distributed by Dr. Maria that the educator prepare her class room and develop the surroundings in order to help in her children in discovering and learning separately. In this kind of environment children maneuver around in the school independently and revel in the variety of activities already prepared by the teacher. In relaxed and disciplined atmosphere children enjoy the organized activities and under tutor?s guidance and with learning they attain their tasks on their own pace.

After the tea break in the action the lecture was given on ?How to greet and acquire children in the morning when they are reluctantly going out of their mom?s lap and are paid to the teacher for at least three to four hours every day. The warm welcome of the instructor no doubt encourages these small angels on the planet to spend the rest of the day outside their cozy homes. It was observed that almost all of the educators keep themselves busy in either establishing the class room or organizing activities for the kids and they tend to forget how to get their student early in the morning. This happy start of day raises up their moral and they start sensing confident.

Day 2:

Introduction to Exercises of Practical Life (EPL)

There is a variety technique for doing the specific work. Education for small children means to train them an activity of living and things become secondary. A kid exists with a lot of innate skills and instincts such as propensity of movements, order imitation and working independently. Exercise of useful life enables the kid to move in the prepared classroom individually and explore the surroundings around him. Movements is one of the main things in a child?s life. Sometimes the parents are over guarded plus they don?t allow child focus on his own even in trivial things. EPL makes the child learn how to walk on upright line. sit on a seat; tuck in the seat after use put the toy basket back in place after participating in, moving the mat, buttoning up his shirt. Tying his sneaker lace, zip up his carrier etc.

All these jobs would not only be proven, but the teachers would be asked to get ready these activities for their classrooms.

Day 3:

Lecture on Absorbent Brain:

Absorbent Head is the powerful mental activity of the kids from prenatal life to about six years. Relating to Dr Maria Montessori, children build the ideas and images unconsciously and unwillingly through their senses. By absorbing his environment he learns his survival skills. This absorbent brain is split into two stages;

1. Unconscious absorbent Head: It remains from labor and birth till the kid is of three years. Here he unconsciously acquires his basic talents such as speak, conversation and muscular coordination.

2. Conscious absorbent Mind: Three to six years of age. He demands freedom of everything; freedom to move, freedom to choose and freedom to concentrate.

Activities and practical demonstration would be achieved using household simple materials. How exactly to place things in a holder and bring the tray with both the hands. Positioning the jug safely and securely and pouring drinking water in to the glasses without spilling up for grabs. Cleaning their own furniture, putting garbage in the bin, washing hands properly with soap etc.

Day 4 and 5

Sensitive period: From birth to six years a child goes by through three intervals; order, activity and terminology At his later age group he concentrates consciously on refining those skills. They are spatial order, communal order, sensory and temporal order.

Spatial Order: He gets used to of experiencing things at their devote his surroundings.

Social Order: Placing and knowing people around him.

Sensory Order: Starts off differentiating texture of things, e. g gentle and hard; soft and abrasive. Distinguishes colors shades and patterns.

Temporal Order: He gets tuned to create daily habit time for his food, sleeping and play etc. The new place and boring upsets him.

Day 6 and 7:

There are some specific exercises that help children develop the next senses:

1. Aesthetic Sense (sense of view)

2. Chromatic sense (The colour sense)

3. Tactile sense (sense of touch)

4. Auditory sense (ability to hear sense)

5. Gustatory sense (sense of flavour)

6. Olfactory sense (sense of smell)

7. The Baric sense (sense of weight)

8. Thermic sense (Sense of hot and cool)

9. Stereo system gnostic sense(touch reputation)

As the Montessori equipment is very costly and unaffordable we make an effort to improvise and make the best possible low cost materials in university.

Some of the materials would be used in this workshop such as: sand newspaper cards, spindle container, storage area game of quantities, teen planks and mystery box etc.

Related exercises and activities would inspire to instructors to make learning fun for the students. By using the materials in course the professors have made themselves would arouse their interest also.

Day 8:

Need of parental engagement:

Another very essential requirement in child development. The parents should stay in touch with the educator to get all sorts of feedback. Educators would be given some tips to communicate effectively with parents.

Day 9;

Teachers? Role in understanding Issues, careful handling and normalizing:

It is important to provide the child right kind of ready environment that suits to his needs.

Activities would be achieved making simulation models of the class set up.

Day 10:

Lectures on personality development of the teachers focusing time management, stress management and anger management. Coping with multiple intelligences and combined abilities.

Day 11:

Areas of development:

There are essentially six areas of development that forms the complete personality. Namely; social and psychological development, physical development, language development, mathematical development, cognitive development.

Activities based on how to make children learn the utilization of courtesy words such as many thanks, sorry, excuse me, greeting elders, knock at the entranceway and seek for permission before going into. Await the turn to speak, listen closely patiently without interrupting etc.

Day12 and 13:

Exercises to build up their motor unit skills include slicing, pasting, colouring etc.

Importance of information period in vocabulary development. Playing fun game titles for the enrichment of vocabulary.

Games for mathematical development eg missing numbers, count and write etc.

Day14:

Introduction to culture; Faith; art, knowledge and Music:

To inculcate love for mother earth and care for environment.

Activities such as watering crops, turn the faucet off while brushing teeth, keep the surrounding clean etc.

How to lead disciplined, neat n clean life. Prayers five times per day. Etc

Day15:

Use of computer. Making spreadsheets for results. Demonstration on PowerPoint and category lists on expression.

Day 16:

Teachers would get certificates of the training program. The group that performed best in the actions would be given with the College Shield.

Conclusion:

I suppose fifteen days and nights workshop within an academic time is not sufficient. There should be ongoing development programs for the instructors that could be run over summer and winter to keep carefully the teachers productive and diligent person in the personnel.

CPD gives all the stake holders, the assurance that the professors are continuously enhancing knowledge, skills and expertise. CPD is the hallmark of the experts.

CPD will include the relevant activities that are needed for overall development of the teacher such as formal workshops, conferences, self aimed programs e. g research articles or critiquing useful websites.

A few training and development methods which are also called ?combined training? could be launched in the classes to impart knowledge and skills to the workforce.

Instructor-led:

In this method the instructor could be a senior-teacher or a mind. Instruction could get through face to face discussion method and utilizing multi-media within an appropriate manner. The charisma of the personality of the trainer also leaves an optimistic effect on the listeners to motivate these to work even harder.

Case analysis:

The senior educators give examples of some of their old difficult students and how they fix the situations. Trainees could review and use the information of those old students in resolving the existing issues of the course.

Behavior Modeling:

The new teachers replicate or replicate actions of the mature and experienced professors to take care of various situations.

Role using:

Role performing can be used to make parent-teacher conference simulations. Educators often get nervous in handling fussy parents. It really is for their before hand practice to take care of difficult situations calmly.

In Container training:

Teachers would be trained to create their priorities from urgent action to tedious handling. This practice would permit them to react peacefully to emergencies occurred in the school.

There are even more ways of training and development which involves learning through activities such as on-job training, job rotation, internships and apprenticeship training.
