Macbeth persuasive essay

The story of Macbeth is about Macbeth's ambitions for power, and how he will do anything to obtain that power. With the help of his better half and a prophecy, given to him by the witches, he has become an evil monster capable of committing hideous functions. Do his ambitions for becoming ruler make him bad, or is it his actions in search of that electric power? Macbeth clarifies his activities by declaring, "Good is bad, and bad is good. " -(Macbeth, Action I, Scene I), he is expressing his bafflement about whether his actions are good or wicked. His ambition for becoming king runs profound, and he understands that murdering is wrong. Yet, he's whiling to set aside most of his beliefs and morals to attain his goal. He represents himself and his dark ambitions by saying: "The Prince of Cumberland! That is a step on. . . that i must collapse, or else o'erleap, for in my own way it lies. Stars, hide your fires; Let not light see my black and deep needs. The eyewink at the side; yet let that be that your eye fears, when it is done, to see. " -(Macbeth, Work I, Field IV) Macbeth also explains himself as an evil person filled with greed and guilt. He claims that it is too late to turn back now: "For mine own good all causes shall cave in. I. . . am in bloodstream Stepp'd in up to now that, must i wade no more, Coming back were as wearisome as go o'er. " -(Macbeth, Act III, Scene IV)

Macbeth got a conscience that told him from wrong initially but, over time of selfish thoughts and selfish works he lost himself. All those things was left was the guilt and pity that he brought on himself. The beginning of this was the planning to assassinate the King of Scotland.

Both Macbeth and his wife planed this murder. The one person that pushed Macbeth into eliminating the ruler was his wife. She packed his mind with thoughts of becoming king and that little job was all that was needed. He knew that it was the wrong thing to do yet, the thought of becoming king overwhelmed him to do it. If it wasn't for his selfish thoughts he may have spared the King's life. He disregarded the thought of right and wrong and just started doing that which was in his best interest. His best ally Banquo knew concerning this criminal offenses that was devoted but, proceeded to go along with it because of his own ambitions. Banquo on the other hands was a good man and remained faithful to the ruler. He stated to Macbeth, "Thou hast it now: Ruler, Cawdor, Glamis, all, As the strange. . . women promised, and I dread Thou play'dst most foully for't;" -(Banquo, Take action III, Picture I) Macbeth began to get worried that Banquo would say something to someone about his criminal offenses. So he appointed men to destroy his best friend. Macbeth sinks deeper and deeper in to the hole he's digging himself. He is aware that it is too late to turn back now.

By now Macbeth will do anything to survive and it has become easier for him to commit evil deeds. He has murdered many to get to the positioning of king. He has lost the ability to sense right and wrong. He is becoming twisted and deformed, bad; as he and so many others said. Macbeth had got what he had performed for and promised. He became king by getting rid of and becoming bad. Sadly, "what goes up must come down" with most of his murders it lead you to definitely become dubious of him. Macduff recognized that Macbeth had been doing these dreadful things and got to put an end to it. Most of Macbeth choices business lead to his death. Macduff killed Macbeth in order to stop his tyranny. So was it his activities that made him evil or was it his plan of action? Both of these played a part in his conquest for electricity. He could not see the errors he previously made before very end.
