The design composition is correct as long as the materials used at the plant meet the requirements that were adopted at the design stage. In the production environment, however, they can deviate both in composition and in properties, so it is necessary not only to strictly monitor the quality of the materials used, but also to promptly adjust the design composition of the conglomerate. There are three possible cases:

1. The properties of the binder or its individual components have changed, if the binder in its composition is complex. In this case, in the factory laboratory it is necessary to determine the new value of the binder's calculated activity and the corresponding phase ratio ( R * for c7f) and, using formula (3.3), calculate the new phase ratio c/φ in the conglomerate of the optimal structure:

і formula (3.4) - a new amount of binder at this phase ratio:

numeric values ​​of exponents, determined experimentally, as reported above - when performing an auxiliary operation in the second stage of the design of the composition.

Next, the content of each component is recalculated by 1 ton or 1 m of the conglomerate mixture.

2. The filling materials have changed, although they continue to meet the general technical requirements. In this case, it is possible to select a new ratio of aggregate fractions with the discovery of a new ratio (by mass) between fine and coarse aggregates (for example, F/N) at the highest density of their mixtures. And then, for any practical convenient ratio c/f, the new exponents n and t x , are determined experimentally and the new optimal values c/φ and c + φ. Next, the former nominal composition is recalculated for a new, corrected one.

3. All source materials have changed. In this case, the composition can be adjusted by determining the new value of the calculated activity of the binder and the new exponents n and t x . Then, using formulas (3.3 ) and (3.4), proceeding from the law of mandatory conformity of properties (congruences), determine the optimal ratio c/f in the conglomerate and a new amount of binder c + f.

In all three cases it is highly advisable to use pre-prepared tables or graphs in the corresponding coordinate axes (c/f-% binder, n - c/f, etc.).

Similarly, the optimum composition is adjusted when technological parameters and regimes change in production conditions, as well as when the moisture in the filler is counted as part of the liquid medium in the design composition.
