Perfect, comprehensively and harmoniously a developed person is the highest goal of upbringing, still the ideal for which the national school strives to achieve. Today the main goal of the latter is to contribute to the mental, moral, emotional, labor and physical development of the schoolboy, to create prerequisites for familiarizing with universal values, to provide opportunities for self-realization, to unlock potential opportunities, creativity, to achieve success.
Traditional for the domestic educational system are the following components of the overall goal: intellectual (intellectual), physical, labor and polytechnic, moral, aesthetic (emotional) upbringing.
The goal falls apart. There are many of them, for there are many aspects in a person that need to be corrected by upbringing. Part of the tasks remains common and unchanged, the other part arises from the circumstances of the developing life.

We need to form a person who supports them. Hence the single goal for society - a person, and for the latter - health, work, family, education, prosperity. Man's needs are expressed in his desires. Today in our country for the first time in many decades, the coherence of the needs (goals) of society and man is achieved. Mass polls of the population confirm that people want what the state proclaims - health, work worthy of a secure life. If public and personal needs (goals) do not diverge, then upbringing can count on success. This is one of the important regularities of upbringing: a high result is achieved only when agreeing the goals (needs) of the individual and the goals of society (family, school, media, etc.).
In United States pre-revolutionary pedagogy, the goal of education was derived from three principles: Orthodoxy, autocracy, and the people. The author of the pre-revolutionary "Course of pedagogy, didactics and methodology" A. Tikhomirov defines the purpose of education as follows: "A reasonable and kind person is the unshakable and indisputable goal of education, both the word of God and the common sense of the people understand it."
