This study advises about Psychophysiological changes generated in body due to the aftereffect of yoga and meditation. Yoga is a commonly known general term for physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines which started in traditional India. Meditation is a practice in which a person trains your brain and/or induces a method of consciousness to realize some benefit, though it can be argued meditation is a goal in and of itself.

Cognitive progression may be defined as the amplification or extension of center capacities of your brain through improvement or augmentation of internal or external information processing systems. There are various physiological (Biomedical) signals like EEG, ECG; GSR etc. are being used in a variety of studies for cognitive development.


By simple definition, meditation is engagement in contemplation, especially of the spiritual or devotional nature.
