Education and development of responsibility - Ethical foundations of social work

Education and development of responsibility

Education and development of responsibility has several directions.

First, it is the development of compulsion, the learning to fix oneself, to fulfill one's obligations and pay for the consequences of their actions.

Secondly, this expansion of responsibilities, the development of initiatives in both personal and business spheres.

How to become responsible? To begin with, it is important to make responsibility a value, namely, to realize that responsibility is the most important social skill, thanks to which you can qualitatively improve your life and become its full-fledged author. This skill can be learned by any person. Believe it, catch fire with this. I want to educate myself and develop a sense of responsibility. For example, sincerely consider yourself responsible for events in your family (personal) life and act accordingly. A responsible person, even in difficult relationships, is unlikely to claim that he was offended. He realizes that the author of the insult is himself.

You can become more responsible by asking yourself several times a day the following questions: "What are the opportunities for using me?", "What can I do?". Instead of thoughts and sayings in the style of I want sometimes it's better to ask yourself: "What can I do to get what I want?"

To get more clarity about whether I act responsibly, it's useful to ask yourself: "If I wanted to be completely responsible for my actions right now, what should I do?"

Responsibility can and should be learned like any other life skill, and the following description of the levels of personal responsibility can serve as a good guide.

Zero level - life in the format of the Dependent, the rejection of any responsibility, the certainty that someone is obliged to take care of you and solve your problems. Ask others to give you an evaluation on this item, usually afterwards many questions arise to them and to yourself (to yourself).

The first level is the Artist. A person lives by the principle of "said - did, did not say - did not", and I do not care for any quality, I just do it faster, formally, my soul is basically not here. "Work is not a wolf, the forest will not run away" - the Executor's favorite saying.

Second level - Specialist. If a person takes up work, he performs it properly, qualitatively, without hackwork, but without a soul. For him, this is only work for hire, for the sake of money, you are strangers to him, he will not show initiative, he will not prompt or help, his business is a party. More precisely, his job is to get a salary. If the Specialist finds a more profitable business, he will leave you. Phrase I do not get paid for this reliably protects the Specialist from cases for which he did not subscribe.

Third level - Responsible officer. This person works with the soul, and therefore if not even completely professional, he takes care of improving his skills and soon becomes a respected professional. He is not indifferent to the results of his activities, he takes the initiative, he will help, remind and prompt. He treats business as his own, employees for him - like his family, clients - people for whose sake he works. He will never say a phrase. "They do not pay me for this!". If you need to do it - he will do it, and if they do not get paid for it, he will talk with the management to begin paying - to him and his colleagues.

The fourth level - Local leader. This person is already on a new personal level, this is already a leader, i.e. a man whose main task is to organize the work of employees in order to ensure the fulfillment of the task assigned to him. It is already a responsibility of a different order - not only for oneself, but for others. This lack of fear to give orders, it's the courage to make decisions concerning many. We can say that a person in the status of a local leader already loves his work less because he gives it to other people, knowing that they will make it worse than him. Yes, it is easier for him to do everything himself, more correctly - to train the employees and organize their work properly on the site assigned to him.

Fifth level - Director, head of the leaders. He is responsible for the whole matter, decides not tactical but strategic tasks, can open new directions and close old ones, he is the Chief. This is a professional who knows how to solve the large tasks set before him, but the maximum he is responsible for the result is his position and salary.

Sixth level - Owner. This is the person who decides to open this business, decides to invest his soul, time and money, who is ready to answer for the result not only with money, but sometimes with life. Because it's his business, because it's his child & quot ;. He finds a Director who will steer in his project, but can replace him if the Director has taken the wrong case. The owner is not always visible, everyone knows the Chief - the Director, but he, like a neck, turns the Head of the Head in the right direction.

These levels are not jobs at work, but the level of development of responsibility, the level of personal development. The director of a large factory, the director of a post, in the personal and psychological terms, can only be a Specialist, and even an ordinary Executor, while his secretary in his psychology is a real Master. It often happens that men who at work are showing themselves as real leaders, homes are immersed in the state of the Contractors, and even the Dependents. It's nice to see when female housewives are the true Masters of the family, picking up and bringing up a man as a good Head of the family.

Develop and nurture responsibility is useful. The responsible person achieves more in life and is respected by others. If responsibility is presented to the child as a matter of pride, as an indicator of his already adulthood and confidence in him - the attitude towards responsibility will be the most positive. If it is presented as a burden, as an unpleasant necessity - it will be seen.
